The history of the Molinard fragrances
It is 1849 when a Fat a chemist named Molinard opened a small boutique where she sells fragrances of its own production, starting then to work with the great glassmakers of the French, such as Viard and Baccarat. And’ the beginning of the history of Molinard, one of the most ancient houses, the perfumer, the French and the production of which continues today with fragrances that give a voice to the spirit of women and men.
At the last Esxence, Molinard has presented the restyling of the perfume, which is still the emblem of the brand: Habanita, which returns to public with a new bottle matte black that reinterprets the frieze authentic Lalique with the logo in red. Inside, the scent of the original version: the Leaves of orange and lemon in the top notes; Heliotrope, Vetiver, Virginia Cedar, Rose Centifolia, Jasmine, Mimosa from Provence, Ylang – Ylang and Nutmeg Java in the heart and Amber, Vanilla from Madagascar, indian Sandalwood of Mysore, Patchouli chinese of Penang and Oak Moss in the bottom.
Other recent news are Patchouli Intense Eau de Molinard. The first is a sensual and vibrant fragrance “woody”. Notes of Orange, Neroli, Red berries, Jasmine, and Amber in the head, a heart of Patchouli from Indonesia, Nougat, Cedar Wood, Vanilla and Tonka Bean and a background of Patchouli, Sandalwood, Vetivert, and Wood of Cashmere, Amber and a mixture of White Musk. Eau de Molinard is a fragrance of spring which is extremely simple and understated, with notes esperidate, floral, spicy and woody. It opens on notes of Bergamot, Lemon, Mandarin and Ginger, softened by a heart of Jasmine, Ylang Ylang, Cinnamon and Cardamom; Sandalwood, Vetiver, Blue Cedar and Tonka Bean.
In Grasse, you can visit the workshops and the workshops Molinard, where you can discover the manufacturing process of the perfume in the different phases and observe a wide collection of perfumes and bottles antique and prestigious signed by the most famous master glassmakers as Baccarat and René Lalique. A short course of introduction to perfumery, certified by a special diploma of participation, it will also allow interested visitors the opportunity to create your own personal perfume along with the “Noses” of the maison.
